FC Augsburg have a seventh season of Bundesliga football to prepare for, and so in order to be ready for the challenges ahead, the club will be holding a training camp in Mals in the Upper Vinschgau area of South Tyrol for the second year running.
The conditions and training facilities FCA encountered during last season’s trip to Italy were outstanding, so the club has decided to return to Mals once again this summer to lay the groundwork for a successful season. “We’re delighted to have found a more than fitting place to hold our training camp and are convinced that we will be met with wonderful conditions once again this year,” said FCA sporting director Stefan Reuter.
The training complex and the overall setting went down well with the players themselves as well. The FCA team will be able to focus on preparations for the 2017/18 campaign in a serene and beautiful location, which provides everything necessary for a successful pre-season.
