The Watles ski area offers three chairlifts and three ski lifts and over 18 km of ski slopes, suitable for beginners and families but also for experienced skiers and snowboarders.

Altitude: 1750 m - 2150 m
The downhill- slope for experts brings directly to the valley station, through the natural snow.
Among the new attractions of the Watles ski area is the ski cross track. The course winds for almost two kilometers along stairs, wu-tang, roller, jump and bank stages towards the finish. Several racing teams from all over the world have come here to develop technique and speed in preparation for the FIS and European Cup competitions. Preparations for the Winter Olympics in Sochi were also held at Watles. Outside of training times and races, the ski cross track is open to families and children and is particularly popular for its variety and accessibility.
It doesn't matter if you are a professional on boards and skis or a beginner- the snowpark is the amzaning furnished. After a day in the snow the boarders meet in the Iglu with cool music and delicious drinks on the Aprés- Ski!
A drag lift carries your children safely and quietly so that they can tackle the next turn. It is an easy piste.
You can ski at the right and the left side of the ski lift. The routs are not very diffucult so that the whole familiy can sky there.
The run isn't difficult and it offeres you the possibility to enter in the Höferalm.
Cross country skiing is an intensive and relaxing experience in the unspoiled nature. The sunny Slingia valley welcomes you with perfectly preapred slopes. Beginners and professionales find best conditions on 15 km slopes.
Sledging in the Upper Venosta Valley, has a long tradition especially in Watles and is one of the most popular recreational sports for families and enthusiasts. The 4km-long Watles natural tobogganing route of the winter sport area is one of the most beautiful runs in the South Tyrol, which can be reached by chairlift. Active holidaymakers can also reach it by foot in approximately 1.5 hours. There are several family-friendly resting places at the valley and mountain station.
