To the Watleskreuz

General description
A mountain, which offers spectacular views in the Sesvenna mountain group, which is relatively easy to reach
Route description
The Watles is not the highest mountain of the Sesvenna mountain group, but definitely offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountain peaks and landscapes. Its summit, the Piz Watles, is located at 2,557 m above sea level. The tour starts at the mountain station Watles, which can be reached from the valley station with the chairlift Watles, and runs over rolling hills and meadows accompanied by a spectacular view of the Upper Venosta Valley. Past the Höferalm alpine pasture and the Plantapatschhütte hut, the steadily ascending but relatively easy hike leads along the well-marked trail no. 3 to the summit cross. The descent is via the same route.
