To the Piz Watles

An easy ski tour to the summit with a fantastic panorama of the Upper Venosta Valley

Starting point of the ski tour to the Watleskreuz mountain summit is the parking lot of the valley station chairlift Watles (1,740 m). A large winter hiking trail leads to Höferalm Alpine Pasture (2,066 m). Hiking to the children's skilift and crossing the valley run of the skiing area, the route continues along a stretch of the tobbogan run. Over moderately steep terrain, reaching the Pfaffensee lake and the further ascent off the piste is accompanied by a magnificent view of the entire Upper Venosta Valley. Arriving at the summit, not only the valley, but also the surrounding mountains can be seen.

The descent is via the same route to the mountain station of the chairlift and then following down the valley run of the skiing area.
